(REC) Insights from Practicing ABA in Zambia

Last July and August I spent several weeks in Lusaka, Zambia supporting an NGO. I got to spend several days working in the centers, train NGO staff, visit and consult at a village school, and work with an orphanage school. I’ll make slides then write a better description based on what I can fit in.

Learning Objectives:

  • The participant will identify culturally relevant practices when working with children and families in Zambia.
  • The participant will adapt ABA interventions for use in resource limited settings.
  • The participant will use the ethical problem solving model to identify potential solutions for ethical issues encountered in Zambia.
