Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will be able to define naturalistic developmental behavioral interventions (NDBIs)
  • Attendees will be able to identify at least 3 examples of NDBIs
  • Attendees will be able to identify at least 5 strategies to use to create effective child-led sessions
  • Attendees will be able to describe the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)
  • Attendees will be able to explain how to conduct play-based and child-led assessments
  • Attendees will be able to explain how to design play-based and child-led goals
  • Attendees will be able to explain how to troubleshoot goals
  • Attendees will be able to identify at least 3 areas for training individuals on play-based and child-led interventions
