Michelle has been in the field of applied behavior analysis for over 7 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Pennsylvania State University in 2013 and returned to receive her Master of Education in special education with an emphasis in applied behavior analysis as well as a graduate certificate in applied behavior analysis in 2017. Michelle joined Del Mar Center for Behavioral Health in January of 2021.
Over the years, Michelle has gained experience serving autistic children, adolescents, adults, and their families across multiple environments. She is passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming care and using ABA to teach skills that increase a person’s ability to control their own lives in ways that are meaningful to them. One of her favorite things about being a BCBA is the opportunity to work closely with individuals and their families to develop plans that support their unique wants and needs.
When Michelle is not working she can be found spending time with her husband and children in the pool or on the beach, hanging out with one of her many pets, reading a great book or sleeping through a movie. Michelle is an autistic BCBA and proud member of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN). Preferred pronouns are she/her.
