Autism Awareness, Acceptance, and Advocacy

S2: E8 – On this episode of the #dobetter podcast, Joe and Megan discuss Autism Awareness, Acceptance, and Advocacy. The episode starts with a historical perspective of the training and experiences each of them encountered over their time in the field. We hope this episode serves as one example of the journey neurotypicals might take in better understanding autism self-advocacy and neurodiversity. Joe and Megan share their committed actions relating to this topic. We encourage listeners to share theirs as well!

  1. Thank you sooooo much for this!!! As an autistic trainee, this made me cry. I can’t be the only autistic who constantly feels like I’m drowning in alphabet soup in our field. Can we just use whole words for one paragraph instead of using initials for everything? Lol.
